Do I go on 2 week course or not?

I am due to go on a course next fortnight (9-5 Monday to Friday) leaving my 2 & 6 year old DSs in the care of grandparents. I've never worked while they've been little so this is a culture shock for us all. My 2 year old knows somethings up - he's throwing tantrums, is clingy as hell and my 6 yr old is whingey big time. I feel bloody awful. Should I cancel the course? (course is paid up, will be interesting & part of future career plan)
Advise please??!!

Go on it, they will be fine. They may well miss you but they will love the time with their GParents and the GParents will love it too. Don't worry.

Go. They are picking up on your uncertainty - decide to go, and then do it!

Absolutely - go!! It will do you all the world of good and you are after all only doing what mum's who choose to / have to work full time do. You're not away for the weekend and you'll be back in the evening (?) so it's not like going away. Even if you didn't see them in the evenings, they will be totally fine!

I went & we all survived!
