remove dummy from dummy-obsessed dd 2.4 AND ds 12mo at same time? he won't be so bothered tbh.

AND get dd into proper bed?

she is sleeping so awfully at the moment, i can't see any reason not to just do everything at once. apart from compassion, of course

dh (teacher) breaks up tomo. just want this all done now so we can enjoy rest of summer.

I would imagine your house would have to become a dummy free zone else dd would nick ds's dummy anyway.
If you can convince her that she is growing up and getting a new big girls bed and that big girls don't have dummies, she might acccept that!
Thankfully my dc's never had dummies, I've heard some shocking stories from friends. A lot of their kids had to leave their dummies out for Santa, maybe she could pay for the bed with dummies?
Good luck with it and if you do decide to go for it stick with it, cold turkey is probably better than letting her have it at night, I can see how you could so easily slip back into her having it all the time.
