Oh dear, please someone help with your advice.. I chnaged a milk recently from SMA to Aptomil (1) and he started with diarrhea and very runny yellow poo, twice today. Is anyone using Aptomil milk and have you experienced this before? He seems OK, i.e no temperature or being upset by it.. Now Im not sure if its the milk, teething or being on solids for almost two weeks..
Reason for changing the milk was, he was refusing SMA and he s been on SMA it for 6 months. He likes the Aptomil.
thank you

I would say it's an allergy/intolerance to something. Teething IME doesn't make the poo change colour that much it just makes it runnier.

What are the ingredients in each sets of milk - anything new? Yellow poos (sorry TMI coming up!) usually mean too much sugar, bacterial infection (but if no temp can't be that), refulx problems (Is he being a bit sicky too).

If it continues (more than 2/3 days) I personally would take him to the GP armed with a stool sample.

ebf babies naturally have runny yellow poo just as you describe - the consistency of (say) double cream

part of the Aptimil USP is that, unlike some other formulas, it produces poo similar to bf poo

so sounds fine to me
