Running

Just curious:

When did your toddler learn to run?

DS is 3.1 and does a rather amusing fast shuffle when he wants to get somewhere quickly. He can't run yet, although I know kids who are months younger who sprint away from their frantic mothers at some speed.

I reckon DS is just naturally lethargic and can't be arsed to run when he doesn't need to.

Mine's just 2 and he's been running for a while. Quite fast!

DD will be 17 months in a few days and has been trying to run for the past couple of weeks, getting better every day, so I reckon she'll be running properly in a week or so.

So he is being lazy then!

I hope it is just lazy and not a physical thing

Now I am fretting because I've just been a fool and googled it, the general 'guidelines' being that a child starts running around 2.

Shameless bump hoping someone else will have a late runner...
