My DD is 7 nearly 8 and is causing much stress at them moment due to her behaviour. Its not that she is naughty, just cannot accept if things don't go her own way and turns on the tears, stomps, etc. Tonight it was because we ran out of juice so she has to have water to drink in her bottle tomorrow (yet she usually drinks water anyway!). I don't know what tricks and techninques to try and its causing angst at home. Your suggestions needed... please !!

My DD (her nibs, we call her) is 5 and was hoping she'd grow out of this a bit and lighten up in time, but I see yours is nearly 8.
I guess if she had siblings there would have to be more compromise.
DD's not too bad - but it can be a pain. And the tears are often fake.

Also have DS who is 4 and he sometimes aggrivates her and sometimes ignores it. If she is being stroppy he tends to become golden child and starts telling me how much he loves me! Tonight was almighty and she didn't even think to say sorry for it, which I had to tell her how much that upset me, so she got even more upset! Don't think I should have said it but was at the end of my tether!
