ABA friendly Educational Psychologist (London)

Does anyone know (and have details for) an ABA friendly Educational Psychologist BASED in London?

I know David Urani and Peter Parkhouse are names that come up very often, however, being not based in London their travel costs are nearly a match on their actual costs!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there

You may like to try Linda Miller who I have come across in this context. I don't know her personally but in my role as a local authority EP I have spoken to parents who have been positive about her input. I think that her practice would come up in a Google search. Otherwise, have you looked into the London Children's Practice? They may be able to help you out.

we used David Urani

(other recommendation we had was PEter PArkhouse!) With Urani, he does have the reputation of not being ABA friendly, as such, but will always recommend exactly what the child needs (even if that goes against what the parents are asking for)

I can't recommned him highly enough, tbh. HE was honest, fair, and not afraid to tell us exactly what he thought, including that, initially, he didn't think dd1 should need an ABA school! HE spent a long itme talking to us, was not afraid to offer advise when asked for it, and was vey thorough. very knowledgable about the whole tribunal process too (we had him lined up as expert witness - I am convinced that this is partly why our LEA settled before tribunal)

NOt what you were asking, but htouhgt I'd let you know some thoughts!
