tidy solutions?

does anyone have any good ideas as to how to make their kids be more tidy? Have tried everything from rewards/punishment to earning pocket money and nothing seems to work. Feel likle I am constantly nagging and I really hate it. Wondering if any of you have any amazing tricks up your sleeves?

Amazing, no. But there are times when I refuse to feed them/take them somewhere/do something/watch something unless they tidy up.

Used to work in a school so we have had 'tidy up time' at the end of every day before bed since he was 3-weeks old!
At school, its just the rule, no punishment just nothing else happens until the room is tidy.
