DS2 (13months) behaviour when upset

DS2 is quite hard work. We have been watching him for signs of autism as DS1 was diagnosed at 2 (now 5) He isn't showing any of the indicators that Ds1 did, but does seem to behave strangely. One example is that when he gets upset, he will either walk away to another room to cry, or he will throw himself in a heap on the floor rather than come to me for comfort. He can be quite resistant to me trying to pacify him with a cuddle. Is this odd or do other toddlers do this aswell?

That is perfectly normal. I have childminded lots who walk away when they're cross or upset.

My DD who is very normal I think does this. If I say no or whatever she will throw herself on the floor and cry. She only really comes to me for comfort when Scary Other People talk to her.
