How many teeth should a 6 year old have

ds has two more teeth coming through at the back which will make 22. I thought he'd have all his teeth by now and would only have 20.

He hasn't lost any of his baby teeth yet either.

I thought children only have 20 'milk' teeth .... 5 in each quarter of their mouths. Don't know enough to know what these other 2 are. Is he due for a dental check up? You could ring your dentist and ask. My ds2 who is 7 hasn't lost any milk teeth yet either.
