20 month old taking sleeping bag off

My 20 month old ds has started taking his sleeping bag off the moment I put him in it. This evening I had to go back in twice to put it back on, and just now he's asleep so I've covered him with a blanket instead. That won't stay on long because he's very active in his sleep.

We use Slumbersac bags which have the zip on the front starting at the bottom. This is supposed to be toddler-proof....

Any ideas?

turn it back to front so the zips up the back- that should buy you another couple of months :-)

could you put it on back to front ?

Safety pin through the zip

Long sleeved/legged pyjmas and no blanket?

With a vest underneath when it gets colder. My DS hates covers of all sorts, his sleeping bags sit pristine in the cupboard!

DD was in a sleeping bag till way past 2. DS had a duvet by 14 months. He was a nightmare with sleeping bags- couldn't get them off but just hated them. He sleeps much better with a duvet.

Backwards sounds like a good idea. Until he finds out where the zip has gone of course! I'll try tomorrow night. Thanks!
