Evening all,
My DS is 2.4 and a happy, bright little thing. Yet so "disobedient". He won't follow any instruction happily doing his own sweet thing whatever I say. If I say "no" he ignores me etc etc. DD wasn't like this, but I was hoping someone could tell me it was perfectly normal and that he will grow out of it (soon).

He sounds a lot like my entirely normal ds.

Which is not to say I'm not at my wits end a lot of the time.

absolutely normal. my DD is 2.3 and her favourite word is "no". Her others are "my don't want to" and "my not doing that!" Also hoping she will grow out of it........

Thank you. My rational brain was telling me they don't call them the terrible twos for nothing, but he is so bloody minded...
Our number one battle is getting him to stay at the table for more than two minutes at any meal. Sigh...

At least it reminds me that you can parent children in exactly the same way and they will still act completely differently (ponders if I might avoid the "challenging" four year old stage that we had with DD...)
