When do their milk teeth start falling out?

DD is nearly 6 and no sign of this yet. Am not looking forward to it as I can't stand wobbly teeth . Do I need to prepare myself for it happening soon?

did she get her first teeth late? If so she might be a bit later losing them. DD is 6 1/2 and has lost 4 so far. Her cousin has recently turned 7 and has only lost 2 so far.

I was worried about this because our family has a tendency to lose milk teeth late, and our dentist told me that they only start getting worried when no milk teeth have fallen out before the age of 8.
A good dentist will keep tabs on things though - DD had to have a milk tooth extracted last week because the second tooth was coming up below it but it just wouldn't budge - and she's nearly 12. Not all her milk teeth have gone yet. I had to have a milk tooth removed when I was 35 and replaced by a crown because there was simply no second tooth under there.

Ds1 is 7 and hasn't lost any yet. Although he does have a new set of molars coming through at the back.

DS has just turned 6 and has no wobbly milk teeth at all - dentist said this was a good thing apparently! Also not looking forward to this stage - still remember that horrible feeling of wobbly teeth now
