Just put dd2 (26 months) into same bedroom as dd1 (4) as definitely time for dd2 to move out of our room. We are typically space challenged London family so limited options. They get on great but is all too much fun, last night took nearly 2.5 hours to get them off. Any tips before I go nuts.
Both are crying now as I have been doing a lot of shouting as hungry & tired not a good combination. Any ideas welcome!

i have this with my boys. i put the younger one to bed first & wait till his asleep & then older ds will go up. younger ds will usually go to sleep pretty quick!

18m between ours and used to put youngest down first and wait til he was asleep. However that no longer works because they have same bedtime.
Battled with trying to get them to sleep before 9pm with loads of shouting, removing toys etc. Have now given up and put one to sleep in our bed and then transfer when both are sound asleep.

Probably creating some sort of long term problem, but is getting us through for now and I have no clue otherwise

Will watch this thread with interest!

Kiss, I now have 2 children asleep but like you, one in our bed & one in the dcs bedroom so am with you on the long term thing. Anyone who has cracked this issue & with any advice will be much appreciated!
