dd4 has some soft toys in her cot, and some not so oft toys.

tonight as i was putting her to bed (she is 19months btw), she first of all put her teddy on her pillow, followed by soft upsy daisy.

then dd4 shook and her and put them at the end of her cot.

and picked up, a platic empty bubble bath bottle in the shape of upsy daisy and cuddled up with that and went to sleep.

she always was a bit stange with her sleeping habits, shouldn't worry too much

misdee · 29/05/2010 21:40

oh i know, sleep, beuatiful sleep.

That's so funny! My 2 year old would rather cuddle a large toy tractor in one hand and a giant cardboard book in the other than a squishy soft toy.

MathsMadMummy · 29/05/2010 21:58

xylophone, my old mobile, cars, shoes, train tracks... need I go on?

misdee · 29/05/2010 22:06

glad its not just dd4 then lol.

mind you i am forever clearing out toys and pens and stuff rom dd3 bed. i did find a pine cone in there once

misdee, I didn't realise you knew hubby!!!??
I'm just glad he doesn't wear an upsy daisy skirt!

I can't believe I forgot the biggest one. DD (nearly 3) insisted, for a good few weeks, on sleeping in her pop-up tent in her bed!

I found mine cuddling a wooden parrot a few days ago.
