DS not interested in potty

DS 2:6 years old had a few dry mornings this week in big boy pants but today asked for a nappy, "no pants mummy". I put him in pants anyway and he did a wee in them (that told me!). Shall I carry on or leave it a few weeks??

I'd give it three weeks don't ask me why 3 weeks it just seems long enough to see if there's enough progress or if its stressing him out too much. I had a false start with my DS and gave up after 2weeks. But it served a purpose because when we started again a month later he knew what to expect and was more relaxed about it. He's 3 and we've been in pants for the past month. He still hates making time for going to the toilet as he doesn't want to stop playing. So we have accidents because of that. Poo is worst as little bits escape a couple of times (resulting in pants change) before I can convince him to sit on the potty long enough to do a big poo.
The other day he did a BIG poo in pants at park. It was a foul nightmare. Now carry surgical latex gloves with me in case it happens agian!! Good luck.
