Will try to keep this brief, I really need advice / perspectives on this.

Dh has two elder kids. We currently live close to them. Our child is due to start school shortly, didn't get into our choice of school.
If we were to move about 40 minutes away, our child could go to a great school and we could have a good standard of living. Staying where we are means a crap school and crap area too.
Dh doesn't want to move area as it'll upset his elder kids, but ew never see them (two days twice a month) and i'm feeling angry that our child gets a raw deal on education just to keep the peace.
They will both be out of school in 3 years by which time our child will have had a few bad years.
WWYD? Do I fight to move or stay and keep the peace?

I would fight to move, 40 mins is nothing to travel to see his kids 2 days twice a month.

I live 30 mins from my ex and we have 2 kids together who we share 3 nights / 4 nights at the moment.

I have moved because the kids can now go to a better school and be in the catchment for a grammer school if they are clever enough!!
