Oral Vitamin K – causes sore tummy?

I gave DC3 (4 weeks) his last dose of oral vitamin K this afternoon, and he's spent most of the evening yelling his wee head off and trying to feed but then changing his mind at the last minute. Don't remember such a reaction with DD ? does anyone know if this is normal? Am hoping the night will be a bit more peaceful ... Thanks!

I have never heard of such a reaction, it may be completely unrelated as 4 week old babies are a law unto themselves (in my experience). It smells bloody awful though so I imagine it tastes pretty bad too!
