Eye-Q for various problems

Over the past few months different people (not HCPs) have been encouraging me to use large doses of Eye-Q Omega 3 oils for problems that various members of my family have: mood and concentration problems, depression, and overactive bladder.

Does anyone have any experiences of using fish oils this way?

I've used them purely to aid concentration with my boys (ds2 has a dx of ADHD) ... never used or heard of them being used for depression. But, as they are soposed to 'feed' the brain, I don't see why it wouldn't be used for other things.

I have used Eye Q for DS with ASD and dyspraxia-it did seem to improve speech quite a lot-I have (for various reasons) switched to eskimo oil and this seems to be having a really positive effect on concentration and behaviour at school but we are doing various things so not quite sure which is the thing that is working or whether its a combination.
Higher doses of EPA vs DHA are supposed to be more effective in learning difficulties and behaviour (Eye Q has this preferred ratio). Some people swear by added omega 6 as well as the omega 3 but we found omega 6 made DS a bit hyper...it was all a bit trila and error for us tbh.

I give ds Eskimo brand ones for migraine - he is better, but we have used a whole raft of alternative remedies so hard to say which one has hit the spot. However it has certainly seemed worth a go.
