Am I the only one who misses baby poo??

My DD is 6 months and I started weaning on Monday. I hate change at the best of times and I would keep DD a baby all her life if I could. Okay so her poo has changed. It looks like people poo not baby poo. If I would have known it changes quite so quickly I would have made the most of each nappy.

Am I mad or has anyone else felt the same. I mean I wont cry or anything but I want my baby poo back. :0(

he he

I know how you feel - my dd is nearly 7 months. I've just moved her on to chunky / mashed food. Chunky food = chunky poo

No, not just you. I actually liked the smell of new born/ purely breastfed poo.

I feel the same s you. Love BF poos instead of weaning poos!!

I'm afraid I can't wait to get rid of the baby poo! DD2 is breast fed and only poos every 5 or 6 days and when she does.....OMG!!! It leaks EVERYWHERE through layers of clothes and cot sheets......I have to bath her everytime! I'm looking forward to lthings solidifying a bit

WidowWadman · 23/05/2010 12:06

Breastfeeding poo was easier to wash out, and less smelly than proper poo, which is the only advantage.

Personally, I'd rather have her to get to the stage where she can look after her own poo, than reverting to baby poo.

I'm puzzled by what "making the most of each nappy" might mean.

I do kwym, especially with DS, people moan about changing nappies - I used to love it. It wasn't a problem, and he used to be really entertained by it when he was tiny So I used to enjoy nappy changes. Then he got bigger, the novelty wore off, he could roll over and kick harder....
