OMG!! Hose pipe obsession!

DS 2:6 is obsessed! I dread going to others gardens if he spots one! Just wants to water everything, turn it off then on, changes the end bit etc etc etc.

It was lights (well still is often) now its water......just hope he doesn't mix the two!

Is this normal?? I am a bit concerned...

Yes very normal. Dd2 is the same age and she is also at the water stage. I have had to hie the bathroom plug in order to stop her flooding the bathroom and now I can't remember where I put it

She likes lights too, but not as much as water/taps/showers

God you are lucky it's a hosepipe, DS literally 'waters' the garden whenever he gets a chance

My dd was like this for AGES - from about 16 months to nearly 3 if I remember correctly. It's funny, it used to dominate our days but I'd forgotten about it until I saw a 2 year old going in and out of a bathroom to wash his hands and it all came back to me.
Yes, it will pass but not necessarily that quickly!
