Teething and co sleeping

Hi All, Our 19 month old DS was sleeping 7.30 pl till 5.30 am like a dream, but from the end of last week he started grizzling. I know he has his pointy teeth coming through and also the last of his big side teeth (he has a blister with the tooth under it for about 2 weeks, you can now feel & see the tooth) To top it off he now has a cold, with cough!! The thing is before we always did the CC and it worked, but this time we know it?s because he?s in pain with his teething, so in the early hours we have ended up having him in our bed, just so we can get some sleep, as we both work full time. Please someone tell me that once his teething eases he will sleep longer in his own bed?? :-(

Burtie2u - you have my sympathies. We had this with DD. It is just a phase. It shall pass. Normal service will resume just as soon as we work out what is normal anyway....

We also doled out the calpol. Didn;t help with the sleeping particularly, but eases the pain.

Thank you at least I know its normal and I'm not alone :-) Hopefully it won't last too long and we can then all get some sleep.
