How do I encourage dd's artistic abiltiies?

Dd is 4 in Sept. Her childminder commented recently that her drawing and observational skills seem quite advanced. I've always thought her drawing was good but have had nothing to compare it to so it didn't register that much. Now one of her nursery helpers has said that dd seems in advance of her own granddaughter who is a year older and has been identified at school as 'talented'. This helper actually said she thought dd's artictic skills were 'exceptional'.
Have been a bit taken aback by this. Anyone any ideas how I can nurture this and help her develop her skills in a non-pushy way? Or do I just leave her to it and hope the school pick it up when she goes?

I wouldn't overtly push it, just have lots of arty crafty things that she can choose to use if she wishes,

You could also try giving her blank paper to do free drawing to encourage her creativity rather than pre drawn pictures to colour in.

Don't overtly push it .... says the mother whose own child has a different class or club everyone evening, has just read a reply from her enquiries at the local kumon centre and has a playroom with number and alphabet charts on the wall.

There might be local art lessons for kids. Just a group of kids painting/drawing with some encouragement from an art teacher. The group stuff means there is no pressure/pushiness - but she gets to get a bit of guidance and practice under an expert eye. (Where I live in NZ there is a local artist who gives art lessons to kids. The kids love it and get some guidance without any pressure).
