Kiss-Chase

Is it something to allow?

Does the age of the 'players' matter?
ATM I'm thinking about 7-9 age range, but wd also be interested to know thoughts about later.

Does it make any difference whether it is a boy or a girl chasing?

My first thought is that, as with most playing, it's fine as long as everyone is enjoying themselves. But it's the sort of game where emotions can change so quickly that I'm really not sure. And it's not always clear just how enjoyable participants are genuinely finding it.

What do you think?

I used to play a lot of kiss chase as a child... This was in the 70s though. If I recall correctly, the girls always chased the boys and they pretty much lived in fear of being caught.

I can't imagine it being played at school these days though. Is it played?

I think you are overthinking this. It has been played for decades, I don't recall anyone crying assault. Let them sort it out amongst themselves.
