Thumb sucking and head rubbing!

My DD is 15 weeks old. For the past couple of weeks she has been sucking her thumb quite a lot, but recently she has also started to rub the side of her head with her other hand at the same time. Not sure if this is normal or not? Does anyone else have any DC who do this??

My dd did this before she had much hair. Now she sucks her thumb and twirls her hair.

Completely normal it's just a self comforting thing.

It's a self comforting thing. Both my boys did this as babies.... My kids are now 10 and 6 but both still get caught occasionally sucking their thumbs in the middle of the night Smile

My 14 week old DD does that when she's tired :-)
