Teething: my 9 month old like to chew wooden blocks

Is that cool or will my boy knacker his teeth? He's only got six but he loves to chew these 2" x 2" wooden blocks like a beaver. Me & the missus aren't sure about this...

Yes i know we could take them off him, but he seems to like it...

as long as he's not managing to break bits of wood off then I don't see a problem.......I don't see how chewing a wooden block could do any more damage to his teeth than say a plastic teething ring.

My 13-month old son eats anything he can get to his mouth and chews anything that is too big - the arms of the sofa, the wooden toy box, plastic toys, wooden building bricks. His teeth are fine, the sofa has teeth marks all the way down both sides he only has minor tummy unsets and his poo reveals an amazing array of items he has managed to piffle and swallow!
No coins yet as he tends to pocket small change left on tables from tips rather than try to eat it, I guess money tastes bad.
