Help! changing / washing getting inpossible as he wants to be on his tummy / crawl all the time!

Hi!
My DS is nearly seven months, and has started crawling. After months of him hating being on his tummy it's now the ONLY position he wants to be in. Changing is nappy is realy really hard (thankfully he only poos once every few days at the moment!) as he turns onto his tummy the whole time. And doing the morning top and tail is getting impossible too. I try to distract him with toys, and even managed to get a portable play arch from a charity shop last week. NO HELP! However boring I make the enviroment, there is always something at the side / behind that is more interesting he wants to grab. Arrrgghhh!
What would be great is having the kind of strap you get on cafe changing tables.......

What do other people do? Any tips in how how I can keep him in one place until he's able to understand why he needs to do this?

ANY advice gratefully recieved!

Believe me he will never stay in one place again!! I'm afraid my DD1 is 26 months now and hates nappy changes with a passion.......her strength amazes me sometimes!! When she was younger I used to throw something over her head (a muslin or teatowel) and play a game of peek a boo......"where's DD gone? oooo there she is!! Peek a boo!!".you get my drift! I found that worked quite well.

I'm pretty sure you can actually buy a change mat with straps......I'm sure someone else has linked to one on here before. Maybe try having a google and see what you find.

Failing that I'm afraid it's a case of pinning them down and being as quick as you can

Hope someone comes along with some suggestions.

I'm sorry I don't know how to do links properly, but if you copy and paste the above, that's the kind of thing I mean.
