Hi,we have a 10yr old that still wets his bed he still insists we put nappys on him at nigh, not just pull ups, but cloth nappys and plastic pants.he likes to be nappyed just after dinner. On weekends he likes to stay in them after breakfast sometimes most of the day.
Please let me know if you have this problem.

Hi, I don't have any experience but I have to say my initial reaction to a 10yr old wearing a nappy was .......no offence meant and I'm certainly not judging because I'm not in your situation.

I think personally I would explain that big boys don't wear nappies and put them in the bin so that he doesn't have the option. Does he say why he wants to wear nappies? IMO it's not normal behaviour for a 10 year old to want to wear a nappy and I don't think you should let him......I take it he can stay dry during the day and use the toilet?

I would also see your GP about the night wetting.......can I just ask, if he has a nappy on every night how do you know that he wets the bed? Is it just because the nappy is wet? Because at his age he should be waking up when he needs to go, but if he isn't there a products or drugs that can help.

Em I agree with heth- my ds was a bedwetter till he was 8, and there was no way we would have allowed him to wear cloth nappies. And you let him wear them most of the day?
I really think you need a referral here.
