Dry 4yr old suddenly wetting the bed

DS has been dry for months but has wet the bed 3 times this week. I even lifted him last night when we went to bed and he still woke up wet. There have been no upheavals/changes in his life, school is fine, he's not ill and is his normal happy-go-lucky little self.

The only thing I can think of is that DH let him go back to bed in a sleeping bag the first two times instead of remaking his bed and DS has thought it was great fun (I was downstairs putting the wet stuff in the wash).

We're going on holiday soon and he needs to get back to being dry or all our spends are going to be used in the launderette!

Would we be OK to go back to the reward chart until he gets back into getting up?

Could he have a mild bladder infection that is making him lost control? Or is he taking piriteze or anything that could be making him more sleepy than usual and unable to get up in time?
