I know there are probably loads of relevant threads on this, but I'm desperate and don't have time to read them all... !

Ds is now 19mths, perfectly happy, lovely chap etc. etc. since last week we've had the onset of the terrible twos - lots of no, mini tantrums, but nothing I can't handle. However, since monday, both lunchtime & evening sleeps have become a disaster. He's always slept brilliantly, now he has a fit when I tell him it's time to sleep. We do the same routine, wind down etc, he's tired and well fed, but just doesn't want to go to bed. tues & weds nights he was so upset, them furious that he vomited within seconds of hitting the bed. Now he's playing up in the night etc. etc. Plus, for the first time, he vaulted headlong out of his cot yesterday twice. I've put him in the travel cot, which is deeper, so he's at least safe, but he sounds so terrified of being left that I'm loath to leave him to cry it out. He stayed the night at Grannies on Sat. night (not for the first time) - could that have something to do with it? Any ideas, please? I'm at my wits end. I really don't want another night of vomit, not with all the in laws and relatives coming to dinner at 8pm!!

sorry no advice but you have just described my ds, same age. He has just started in this stage too-so it must be their age, dont know what to do either. My ds has just been staying up a bit later and I have been giving him water instead of milk to drink when its later on as it makes him less sickly.
