Opinions please - is this teething or something else?

DS2 was 5 months on Friday. Yesterday during the day he was very dribbly and had a runny nose and was off his milk, although not off his food (he has solids twice a day).
At bedtime although he was really tired he didn't settle for ages (we put him down at 7 like normal but it was after 8.30 before he went to sleep, by which time he'd been awake for 3½ hours). He was refusing his dummy, which he normally has to go to sleep, and shoving his fist in his mouth. He was making all sorts of noises I haven't heard before and was very phlegmy.
in the night he only had half his normal feed and was awake for a long time afterwards when normally he goes straight back to sleep, and he has been restless all night - I've been awake since 2.15
I'm guessing it's teething but DS1 was completely unbothered by it when he went through it so I haven't got any experience to go on.
Any thoughts? Would like to know if you think this is teething or if there's something different wrong with him.
Thanks all

Could it be that he has a cold and can't breath to take his milk? Babies need to be able to breathe through their nose to drink from a bottle so he may be hungry and thirsty. Try using some Karvol or Olbas oil or a steamy room to help clear his nose before and during a bottle. If he can drink a bit more he might settle better.
