Constipation/ Stool Withholding/Not poo on Toilet !

i have been at my wits end with all of the above.

Daughter in now on Movical.

Still soils everyday and unless you have been thru this vicious circle of constipation it is hard to appreciate the turmoil!

no start chart or treat in the world with make her use the toilet.

Anyway - found an amazing charity which are really helpful and understanding with this particular issue an wanted to share with any parents with a similair problem.

Thanks I have passed this on to a friend of mine whose child has issues.

Sympathize with you ,had prob like this with dd (4 years). Doc gave lactulose,(im a convert to prunes though) we were symoathetic ,lots of posiive praise etc etc.
star chart linked to getting 1st barbi (10 poos = 1 barbi)worked.
Think she had a small tear who started the aversion, but whatever the cause,whatever the solution its such an unhill struggle.

The lady was really really helpful while i was crying my eyes out!

Given me some tips to try and basically offerd support and information that i couldnt find anywhere else.

Info is so hard to come by and my docs and peadiatrician not been part helpful.

Movical has made a massive improvement to her well being.

I have tried everything and always try to be positive and encouraging. It pretty hard on family life as everyone seems to become fixated on poo's.
