My DS3 seems to be more and more anxious and react extremely badly if separated from me.
He is fine and adores his childminder but it's about it, he won't go with anyone else (grandmother, baby sitter...)
He has always be quite clingy but not to that extent.
Even with his dad recently he screems and shouts if I am not around ! and he is also starting to fear people he has known (or at least seen) all is life.
His total despair and general unsecurity is starting to affect interfere in our daily life.

Should I seek psychological help or does this kind of sudden anxiety happen?

This has recently happened to my 3 year old who has had a period of illnesses followed by the easter holidays I think he would prefer to be at home with me all the time.

I just think it's something that will pass again and hopefully soon.

Happening to my DS too, although when I am not there he is fine but if I am in the house but he is having time with his Dad he screams that he wants me. Again not sure if it is illness or just him.
