DS is 17 weeks old and due to finances im going to need to spend more time at home. When we are at home he seems to get grumpy and tired really easily & is sleeping quite a lot and so not really at night which also means im spending most of the day with my ass stuck to the sofa. We do walks to the park etc but i just wondered what everyone else does?

Play groups filled with fellow mums going through the same things as you! That is the answer. Google toddler play groups in your area. They're usually in church halls.
Your DS should only be having one nap after lunch by his age and that should be for a maximum of two hours depending on when he goes to sleep. So keep him out and busy in the morning then home for lunch and pack him off to bed! When you get to do as you please!
When you've got some mates with a child the same age as yours you'll all do stuff together. play dates etc.
Hope this helps.
