DS is 17 weeks old and due to finances im going to need to spend more time at home. When we are at home he seems to get grumpy and tired really easily & is sleeping quite a lot and so not really at night which also means im spending most of the day with my ass stuck to the sofa. We do walks to the park etc but i just wondered what everyone else does?

1/2 hour - Story/rhyme time

1\2 of telly (although your little one is probably still too small for that)

1 hr walk

1/2 hour morning shower - I put my daughter in her Bumbo with her toys at the end of bath while I have my shower, brush teeth, dress and do makeup. She plays in the bath and before I take her out I give her a rinse under the shower too.

Once you start weaning that will take up 1/2 at each meal time as well.

Visit a relative or friend

20 minutes in the door bouncer

20 minutes play on their own with toys. I have 3 boxes of toys and each monday I rotate them so that each week she thinks she has new toys.

Hope this helps

Finding a mother and baby group nearby would be good because you can walk there and it's free.

You could also try playing in different rooms in the house so he doesn't get bored of being in the same place
