DS is 17 weeks old and due to finances im going to need to spend more time at home. When we are at home he seems to get grumpy and tired really easily & is sleeping quite a lot and so not really at night which also means im spending most of the day with my ass stuck to the sofa. We do walks to the park etc but i just wondered what everyone else does?

do you know how many times you've posted this thread??? Only 467.5!!!1

Anyway to answer your question - at only 17 weeks, it's not like he'll be doing loads of exciting things but there are lots of things you can do that are cheap and that keep you more motivated.
*Join a local mums and tots (usually free or about £1 including drink and biscuit).

  • Go window shopping
  • see if there's a little baby singing group (franchise ones will be more pricey) *Lay the baby on a playmat/duvet to stretch/roll/play with toys etc whilst you exercise/hoover/polish/iron/watch tv. *Take him into the garden and sit him in his pushchair whilst you do some gardening or prop him in a baby gym ring whilst you do some gardening. *Invite some friends over and have a book/magazine swap coffee morning.

Hope this helps a bit.
