like these

Are they worth having?

DS is 3. I've been trying to teach him days of the week using the letters on the fridge but I think it might help to have all the days there at the same time - and the date too. He's beginning to notice weather too... I could make one but I find it hard to make the time with DS and his 17 week old baby sister. I want something that looks nice so I don't mind having it out all of the time.

Does anyone else have one of these? Has it helped your children?

Thanks

We had a telling the time one, did look lovely, but it never really got used and we lost all the pieces. If you are good at making sure you put pieces away it might work better for you than it did for me!

We had a wipeable one (from Waterstones I think, it was ages ago) that you could use a felt tip pen to tick what day it was, the weather etc, this worked better for us. Mainly I think though, we just talked about it all a lot, ie today is Monday so it is the day we go swimming or whatever.

Thanks MrsDinky. I am quite anal about keeping pieces together. Too bad I have to share with a toddler
