Constant burbing!

DS will be 3 at the end of June, so this might be a behavioural thing!

He had a tummy bug about 6 weeks ago and as part of that he was burbing alot in a very lethargic way. It would wake him up at night and he was upset by it.

Since then he is absolutely fine, except that the burping has continued, with a vengence. He is eating and drinking with no problems, but afterwards keeps burbing and also when he hasn't been eating or drinking. Could there be something up with his tummy or has he just got into a habit?

There was something on The One Show last night about this but I didn't watch it closely. I am sure they mentioned something about excess wind in the stomach which they tried to clear with a pipe down throat but eventually she had to have physiotherapy, which worked.

This was an extremely severe case which was ruining this lady's life so not suggesting the same but I would get it checked out purely cause after this length of time there might be a simple quick fix to help clear the excess wind.

Hmmm, think I should get to the doctor. This is a bit worrying

The doc said that he's just swallowing air and burbing it back up and it's fine. He'll get over it!
