Toddler teeth grinding

Anyone any ideas on how to stop my 20mth old from grinding her teeth?

The sounds makes me cringe and its really winding me up!

She does stop it when i ask her too but I keep catching her doing it. Ive told it will hurt her teeth.

could try chewytubes.

ds went through a phase of doing this at around the same age. He didn't stop when I asked though! It lasted a few weeks I think and then he just stopped doing it, thankfully. Horrible noise, isn't it?

oh and I should say - no damage to his teeth according to the dentist.
