Brushing Teeth - 2.2 yr old

Help!
My ds2 hates having his teeth brushed, will clench his lips so that I can't get to the front top or bottom of his teeth. He is fine doing the back ones, but anything to do with cleaning the front is a nightmare.
It is making it all so unbearable and unpleasant for both of us.

Any ideas? hints? suggestions?

Sonic toothbrush. Seriously. None of that back and front nonsense. You pass it gently over the teeth. Has made brushing a doddle with both kids. And it tickles
