My DD is 1 and I have noticed that she seems to be much 'busier' than other babies her age. Whilst I'm not expecting her to be able to focus on anything for long her little pals can concentrate on food or books for a while. I have noticed myself feeling worn out and ratty in response to this, I don't know what to do as I feel such a grump all the time.

Get outside as much as you can!
Is she walking yet? If so tire her out at the local park / playground. Or even if not walking, if she can climb and crawl she could go on those toddler "climbing frame" type things they have in lots of playgrounds, the ones with tunnels to crawl through and mini-slides to go down etc.

Find a local indoor soft play place for rainy days, most of them have toddler specific areas.

I was thinking that this would be a good idea. We used to go to softplay over the winter. She is a confidant child and often paws at other people in our company, this is cute for a while but I feel that it will get annoying. Should I pull her off?

Depends if you think they are getting annoyed or not I guess. But don't let that stop you going out and about with her!
