5 year old too busy to use toilet

my 5 year old DD is too busy to do poos in the toilet. She prefers to push them back up her bum.....sorry for being so graffic....but I've tried everything, from reward charts to rewarding on the spot but to no avail. Any suggestions?

what do you mean by push them back up? do you mean holding on?

she might be constipated - have you investigated that?

A hurty poo/anal fissure in the past can make them afraid to poo because they remember it hurting

keep her poos soft and easy to pass by increasing water intake, avoid banana and weetabix because they can make poo hard and thus difficult to pass

lots of fruit and veg

no, constipation is definetly not an issue, she eats plenty of fruit and veg and drinks plenty of water. I have asked her about it and she says that they take too long to do and that she doesn't want to miss out on her playtime.

Could you leave a basket of toys or interesting books or a magic slate/sketching toy/ pad and markers, etc., in the bathroom to occupy her while she's 'occupied'? One of mine, who suffered from Busy Little Girl Syndrome, liked to doodle on an erasable sketching toy while busy.

Is there a nice comfy seat for her on the loo? Is there something for her to rest her feet on while she's sitting?
