How do you get a 6 year old girl to wipe her bum properly?

Can anyone out there help me???? I have tried and tried and tried to get my 6 year old daughter to wipe properly after going to the loo, but she is still not doing it properly. I am worried about this for so many different reasons but the main ones being that she will get a serious infection (already had a couple of minor ones) and the children at school will start to call her names or not want to play with her if they notice anything on her knickers. I have tried everything and when I am with her I ensure she does it properly, but as a full time working mother this is not always possible. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution??????

take her shopping to buy some loo roll she likes, some wipes she likes, or some kitchen roll she likes - all have patterns on or different fragrences or packaging.

I've tried that in the coat pocket as it's not that easy for her to take her bag into the toilet. This still didn't work and I feel like I'm going through knickers at an alarming rate and it still does really solve the problem. I think I'll just have to keep hammering home the hygiene message with her...

Good idea re the loo roll, I'll try that tomorrow, I think it could work. Thanks

Any idea why she isn't doing it properly, ie is it because she's in a rush or because her technique isn't effective?

I ask as DS (6) used to be a bit rubbish at it ( technique ), but after a few lessons with DH spends quite some time on it. I was glad not to be involved but I guess I will have my turn with DD next year.
