Jabs to go to Turkey?

Hi there, we've booked a holiday to a place near Side in Turkey for June and wondered whether anyone could tell us whether we need special jabs for the children? I will ring the doctors surgery tomorrow but just wanted to see whether anyone had any knowledge or advice. (kind of dreading taking a 3.9 year old for jabs seeing as she's already booked in for her pre-school booster next week as well....agggghhh!). Many thanks.

Hi! I took ds to Kusadasi in Turkey last sept when he was 13months. He didn't have jabs. I'm sure the surgery checked and said none were needed.

Thanks bananastew - it says on the holiday confirmation that they recommend Hep A and Typhoid? So I'm having a mild panic that I'll need to take my 3.9 year old for 3 separate jabs (including pre-school booster which is two jabs in itself!!!!!!). But you're the second person who has said their lo didn't have any for Turkey so now I'm confused!

from googling you might be advised to get the Hepatitis A jab but we went to Turkey last year and none of us got any jabs.
