Hi don't worry too much I used to be a nanny for a little girl who didn't walk till 22 months. She was a bottom shuffler and got about with quite a haste. One day she just got up and walked!!

My DS started walking at 21 months. I didn't worry because my friend's little boy didn't walk until 26 months and there was no underlying problems and now is exactly the same as all his peers. The paed said they start to worry if they don't walk by 30 months.

babyjane67 · 24/04/2010 13:47

My 2nd dd was 18 months when she finally walked and she was fine, I never thought it was a problem. My first dd was 13 months when she walked, my 3rd was a bum shuffler and he was 20 months and my 4th was 14 months.
They are all really sporty children and just all very different.
