He keeps putting one leg up on the coffee table etc which are roughly his waist height!! He looks like he's warming up for the royal ballet! Not sure what dh will thinkwhen ge gets back from work trip!

What's going on???

By the way he's just started walking and can do about 8 steps on his own so far.

He's just exploring how his body works - he knows nothing about societal disapproval of men doing ballet, and it's certainly no indication that he's gay, if that's worrying you.

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 31/03/2010 01:41

What? Your son is building strength and flexibility, and exploring his physical abilities, and you're worried because "it looks like he's doing ballet" and lord knows what his Dad will think.

FFS.

Maybe he is trying to climb up onto the table. Is there something tempting up there?

mrsflux · 31/03/2010 09:09

I'm not worried- unless he is trying to climb up high already!
It's quite funny watching him trying to manouver his chubby little legs.

This was not a paniced question about his sexuality!

Why would that be someone's first response?

Oh fgs! The sort of eye rolling thing you say with a smirk, knowing dh will find it amusing but a bit puzzling too.

We are a bit quick to judge on mn sometimes I think

He's strengthening his legs. Both my DSs used to do downward dog yoga poses before they started walking properly

Perhaps more use of smilies would help us know when it's a joke, mrsflux.
