I know it has been done a million times before, but what do your young children say that makes you giggle!?

Apart from the above, DS absolutely LOVES the colour black, and innocently shouts out his favourite song: 'ner ner ner ner, ner ner ner ner, ner ner ner ner , ner ner ner ner BlACK MAN!

The Easter bunny "mummy it must be the ghost of nature" aged 3 I guess the ghost is comming!

frankenfanny · 30/03/2010 01:36

DS age 4 "Mummy, the Care Bears never eat any breakfast. Isn't that surprising?"

Yes, and how old are you again?

Ladyem · 30/03/2010 16:03

Every meal time dd (3 next week) says she wants "dips and solid" to eat! I have absolutely no idea what this is!! I've tried dips and salad (cue the reply of "no!!" and runs off giggling!) Soup and bread/toast - no again!! - I even asked her how you make it and she just said "you mix it in the bowl and put it in the oven for 4 hours!" Okaaaaaaaayyyyy!!

13lucky · 30/03/2010 20:26

Ladyem - it couldn't be a boiled egg and soldiers could it?? (obviously you don't mix it in a bowl and put in the oven for 4 hours though!!!!)

Lionstar · 30/03/2010 20:35

DD just 3 sings the Postman Pat song:
"Postman Pat" etc ... then
"All the birds are sailing"
"The day is just beg-ailing" (she knows it's beginning, but she has to make it rhyme with sailing )
"Postman Pat's a verrrry happy maaaaaan" (this last bit sung soprano)

I just can't bear to correct her

She also calls the baby monitor the homitor, so of course we all do now!

mooki · 30/03/2010 21:57

Are your nibbles peeping out? says DD (2.5) if we sit in the bath together.

Ladyem · 30/03/2010 22:11

13lucky - ooooooh, never thought of that!! Will ask her tomorrow!!

ROFL @ nibbles peeping out!!

BlueberryPancake · 30/03/2010 22:14

Mine watch too much telly and last week I had to go to the bank. 4 yo asked me what a bank was for and I said that's where people put their money to be in a safe place. So he started going up and down the queue asking people 'would you like to turn your gold into cash?'.

frankenfanny · 30/03/2010 22:36

Lol blueberry did the bank queue not also lol?

An old favourite is my son calling a birthday cake a "singing cake". And sneezes "bless-you's".

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 31/03/2010 10:54

When DS (20mo) has finished his bedtime feed he says 'bye-bye boobies' and covers my nipples with his hands. It is hysterical and very sweet all at the same time

Ladyem · 31/03/2010 15:05

13lucky - well would you believe it!! You were right!!! So she got her dips and solid for breakfast this morning!!! Thank you for saving my sanity!!!

Loving the little boy asking the bank queue if they would like to turn their cash to gold!!! Priceless!!

flussymummy · 31/03/2010 21:59

Our DD, who's 2, likes to sit on the "sindow-will" to watch the world go by, and requests that we cut her fingernails with the "clail- nippers".

fidelma · 31/03/2010 23:28

DD2 aged 3 about her baby brother "Mummy have you milked him"
