We have 2 & 3 yr old boys who are generally well behaved ( but by no means angels!) but meal times are awful. They wont sit, cry, spit, take clothes off - anything other than sit down & eat. Ive tried, bribery, ignoring them & taking plate works & nothing seems to change. There is always something that they have eaten before on the plate - as they have a very limted pallate. What puzzles me is that they eat breakfast wonderfully - i thought it might be because they werent hungry but they dont have any snacks in between lunch & t time (lunch is hit & miss!)... any hints?

Do you all sit and eat together? Are they very tired by tea time? Perhaps you could have it slightly earlier? Or they might be so hungry they're a bit past it. Maybe a small afternoon snack is a good idea. Mine get really stroppy when they're hungry!
