15 month old 'lost' in his thoughts???

Just wondering if anyone else has a baby doing this!

I'll be playing with ds, who has a very short attention span for toys, and suddenly he's stare into space, really focussed on something, but nothing iykwim, and can stay like that for maybe up to 8 or 9 minutes?

He can do this a few times a day, but I have no idea what he could be thinking about!!

lunavix - dd does this sometimes it is like she is in her own world and then she will snap out of it. Glad someone else's is doing it to be honest I was wondering if it was one of those space out minor epilepsy things.

ds does it too - though mainly while staring at cartoon. you could prod him and he wouldn't react. The all of a sudden - he'll snap out of it and run off or start chatting.
