I bought my Baby Bjorn second hand and didn't get an instruction book with it. Sites that sell it (like Mothercare) seem to suggest that you can feed with baby in the carrier, but I can't work out how you would do it! Can anyone help?

Umm. I've just checked my instruction book and as far as I can see it doesn't say anything about feeding while in the carrier. It'd be hard to get the position right, I think. It's not like it's a tricky one to get them in and out of, so I think I'd stick with taking out to feed. You can leave the straps on I guess.

Don't think you can!

I doubt it. The ones you can breastfeed in easily tend to be wrap slings or ring slings so that the baby can be in a 'cross body' position.

It depends on where your boobs are in relation to your baby's mouth really. If yours are quite high up then maybe you could just unclip the sides and nudge the baby over to the side. You wouldn't be able to walk around feeding your baby like I've seen people do in a sling wrap, unless your boobs are up near your shoulders . I couldn't feed mine even in a wrap sling as my norks are too low down It really does depend on size and position. If you google "slingmeet" you might be able to get some advice from sling wearers in your area. I had to abandon mine fairly quickly because of a back injury so don't really have any special knowledge of them (but do know that some posters on here regards slings as the work of the devil - which I find a bit puzzling )

Thanks for the replies.....guess I'll abandon the idea. MrsSantos - my G cups are certainly not up near my shoulders
