Personality change

My LO is 9 months old and was always very laid back, sleeping, feeding well etc, but this last week he seems to have changed.

He seems very angry and his cry has changed to a screeching and aggressive one, he's even bared his 7.5 teeth at me. He struggles, tussles, yells and pushes my hands away when I try to dress him, then secons later he'll be laughing and cooing or doing his excited high pitched squeal.

Is this normal and all part of their growth and development pattern? I suppose he's now realising what he doesn't like or want and shows his displeasure in this angry manner?

Thanks

Hi there. Sorry, I don't have time to dig my copy out and read the appropriate section for you at the moment, but The Wonder Weeks is a great book for demystifying these sudden apparent changes in demeanour and behaviour. I know myself and others on my postnatal list have found it really reassuring over the past 12 months when our babies seemed to become fussy etc for no apparent reason.

Thanks Moosemama, I'll buy it and have a read.
